Chamber proud to partner with CPS Energy on new addition to event program
On Wednesday, August 2 the West San Antonio Chamber will be adding a new and dynamic event to their already stellar annual program – State of Energy 2017. The event takes place at the Marriott Plaza Hotel’s beautiful Hidalgo Ballroom. Registration for this luncheon starts at 11:00 a.m. with the program for the event starting at 11:45 a.m.
This luncheon is a partnership with the City of San Antonio’s municipally owned gas and electric company CPS Energy, and will feature an address from President and CEO, Paula Gold-Williams.
CEO Gold-Williams is thrilled to be addressing the western sector business community on issues related to the utility, “I am tremendously excited for CPS Energy to be working with one of our outstanding Chamber Partners in providing a forum to talk about innovative solutions we are working on for our customers. Laying the foundation with the West San Antonio Chamber of Commerce for this annual event is something I know will enhance our outreach efforts with the San Antonio business community.”
West Chamber CEO Gabe Farias is too thrilled about the participation with CPS Energy, “Since my arrival at the West Chamber in 2012 there have been few community partners that have played a bigger role in the promotion and support of this organization and its initiatives. CPS Energy represents the finest of municipally owned utilities that engage as a true community partner and they are one of the biggest reasons this City is as great as it is. We are excited about the partnership and especially about the address of CEO Gold-Williams – one of the most dynamic utility executives in the industry.”
There will be a VIP reception and meet and greet for sponsors of the event with the CEO, key members of the CPS Energy family as well as elected officials from 11:15 a.m. until the start of the program.
The cost for the event is $75 for West Chamber members and $85 for future members. Corporate sponsor tables of 10 with inclusion to the VIP Reception start at $1000.
