On Friday, March 10 a large crowd of over 160 West Chamber members and partners attended the second 2017 Council Breakfast Series Event featuring third term Councilman Cris Medina.  The Councilman delivered his fifth address on the vibrant District 7 community to the enthusiastic West San Antonio Chamber of the Commerce audience in attendance at the El Tropicano Hotel.

The Councilman covered a range of topics including economic development, special projects in the area, public safety as well as other facets to City government most affecting the District 7 community.

“Councilman Medina has led the charge with this event for the past five years and we are wonderfully thankful for his address about the fantastic and diverse happenings taking place in District 7,” West Chamber President Gabe Farias stated.  “We are tremendously proud and honored to have hosted his fifth address to our West Chamber membership.”

This was the second event in a three-part series that kicked off with a capacity crowd on February 10 with Councilwoman Shirley Gonzales speaking of the growth and continued synergy taking place in the District 5 community.  The series comes to a close on April 14 when Councilman Ray Lopez delivers his final address to the West Chamber membership in what will no doubt be a memorable event.

The cost to attend the final event is $30 for West Chamber members and $40 for future members.
