GENERAL PLANNING CONSULTANT SERVICES

VIA Metropolitan Transit is seeking proposals from qualified firms for General Planning Consultant Services. Proposals will be accepted until 4:45 PM, January 13, 2012. Proposals received after that time and date will not be considered.
A Pre-proposal Conference will be held at 10:00 AM, December 1, 2011 in the Admin Board Room located at 800 W Myrtle, San Antonio, Texas 78212.
Proposal documents may be obtained from VIA’s Procurement Department, 1720 N. Flores Street, San Antonio, Texas 78212.

You may download by following these few steps in order to download the document. A hard copy has been mailed to you (if requested). VENDOR ANNOUNCEMENT
The VIA Procurement Department is proud to announce a new partnership with Public Purchase, a web based eProcurement service.
Beginning April 27, 2011, you will need to register as a vendor with VIA in order to receive notifications for new solicitations from VIA through e-mail. Your registration will be submitted to Public Purchase for activation and review, which usually takes about 24 hours.
Once your registration with Public Purchase is complete and activated, you will then be required to register with VIA by using the same link, logging in, clicking “Select Agency,” and clicking on the “Register with Agency” on the right hand side of VIA’s logo
VIA requires you to complete three (3) steps in this part of the registration process:
1) You will be prompted to read and either accept and/or decline the Terms and Conditions.
2) You will need to select the NIGP commodity code(s) that relate to your business so you can receive email notifications of future bid opportunities.
3) You will be prompted to fill out a W-9 for the VIA’s records. This form must be completed before you will be considered a vendor for VIA.
These steps will be automated if you follow the process outlined above. You are responsible for keeping your information up to date, particularly the contacts and email addresses.
This eProcurement system provides you with automatic notification and transmittal of bid solicitations. In addition, Public Purchase gives you access to bid opportunities with other government entities. All of this is provided at no charge.
